Prices

Our prices are fully inclusive of all heating (including logs) and lighting, as well as all linen and towels, plus our welcome gift to you. A comprehensive list of other included items will be sent after you make a booking with us. Our aim is to provide everything you should need for your holiday, other than your own personal items and food.

Whichever method you choose, we will get back to you as soon as we can (usually within 24 hours, or 48 at the most). If you don't hear from us, please contact us again - it may be that your communication hasn't reached us.

You've chosen your dates and checked our availability ... what next?

MAKING A BOOKING

  • Contact us either by phone (01246 591263) or use the Enquiry form. Tell us what date/s you are interested in, which cottage(s) you would like to book.
  • We will send a booking form and other information by post or email.
  • We will hold your date for up to 7 working days, and we expect you to send your deposit payment (25% of the total cost) and completed booking form within this time. Please let us know if you are no longer able to book.
  • Payments can be paid by cheque or bank transfer. Please contact us for details if you wish to pay by bank transfer.
  • Your balance will be due one calendar month before your arrival date. May we suggest that you write this date on your calendar/diary.
  • Receipts are sent for all payments made to us. These can be sent by post or email.
  • 'Direction and Notes' about your cottage(s), information about 'Holidays in Derbyshire' and an 'Edible Extras' order form will be sent with the receipt for your balance payment.
  • If you have to cancel your booking, we can only return payments made by you if we can re-book the dates. We will make every attempt to do this.
  • We strongly urge you to take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance and will send you a leaflet for a recommended company (see notes below).
  • Please note that we treat each booking as a contract between ourselves and the person who made the booking. We cannot make separate arrangements with individual guests who are part of a group.
    On your arrival day we will welcome you personally at 3pm and ask that you leave by 10 am on your day of departure. It may be possible to arrange alternative arrival & departure times subject to changeovers in the cottages.

SAFETY & HYGIENE

  • From 1st July 2007 it became illegal to smoke in the Games Room and the Cottages.
  • The law still allows smoking outside.
  • Fire regulations legislation changed in October 2006. A copy of our policy is available on request.

HOLIDAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE

  • We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive cancellation insurance and we can provide details of a specially arranged scheme at your request. Many people have their own holiday insurance - please check your policy to make sure it covers all eventualities, several don’t.
  • If you have requested our information pack (booking form, enquiry letter etc) we will enclose a leaflet for our recommended Holiday Cancellation Insurance scheme. scheme. If you prefer to enquire online, please go to the Pavey Group website, where you will find a .pdf version. To obtain cover, please complete the form and send it with your payment directly to the Pavey Group, whose address is on the leaflet. They will issue your Policy.

 DIRECTIONS & OTHER INFORMATION

  • Will be sent with the receipt for your Balance payment.
  • Both cottages have extensive 'library' of local leaflets and a file containing further information.
